At The Paradise Cleaners, we’re known for one thing above all: quality. That begins with who we hire. Our multi-step recruitment process is one of the most selective in the state — and that’s by design.

Every week, we review dozens of applications and conduct dozens of interviews, but only extend offers to 1% of candidates. Here's how we ensure that only the most skilled, reliable, and professional cleaners make it onto our team.

Step 1: Verified Background Checks

For the safety of our clients and the reputation of our brand, every candidate must pass a strict background check. We verify identity with government-issued IDs or passports and require proof of address and employment history documentation.

Step 2: Experience-Based Screening

We only consider applicants with at least 6 months of residential or hotel cleaning experience. Our clients expect premium service — and that starts with proven expertise.

Step 3: Interview

Our HR team conducts a detailed face-to-face interview to assess the cleaner’s communication skills, reliability, and professionalism. We evaluate everything from their cleaning knowledge to attitude and English comprehension.

Step 4: Hands-On Test Clean

If a candidate advances, they’re invited to perform a real cleaning job in a supervised environment. A senior member of our team conducts a full inspection after the clean. Only cleaners who meet our five-star standards pass this stage — and many don’t.

Step 5: Reference Checks

Candidates who pass the test clean must submit two written references, which we verify directly by phone. This extra step helps us ensure the consistency and trustworthiness of every cleaner we bring on board.

One Month Trial & Ongoing Ratings

Even after all this, newly hired cleaners undergo a 1-month probation period, during which we track performance closely. To continue working with The Paradise Cleaners, they must maintain a 90%+ average client satisfaction rating.
